Ordering

Our website will guide you through the ordering process. Before submitting your order you will be given the opportunity to review your order and amend it. Please ensure that you have checked your order carefully before submitting it.

Payment for goods and related delivery charges must always be made in advance and you will be prompted to pay during the order process.

Currently we deliver within the UK only. Should you wish to place an order from outside the UK, please email me at abigailnorthceramics@gmail.com before placing your order to discuss shipping options and delivery times. If an order is shipped overseas, it will be the customer's responsibility to pay any custom charges, tax, or duty that is applicable in their country.

We currently offer free delivery within the UK.

If you wish to place an order for a large quantity of a particular item or items, please contact me first by email at abigailnorthceramics@gmail.com prior to ordering to get an estimate of the timescale for fulfilment.

I aim to deliver merchandise on the dates stated, but this is not guaranteed. In stock items will be carefully packed and dispatched within 3-5 working days of payment for your order.

Any non-stock items which are handmade to order will normally be dispatched between 4-6 weeks from the time of your order. You will be informed of the expected dispatch date by email, following your purchase online.

If merchandise is required within a shorter period of time please email abigailnorthceramics@gmail.com and do not place the order until I have confirmed this is possible.

PLEASE NOTE: During busy periods such as Christmas, some orders may take longer to dispatch.

All merchandise will be sent by certified mail or courier service. Orders over the value of £100 will be sent using a trackable and signed for delivery service. Your telephone number is requested to assure everything possible is done to ensure the safe delivery of the merchandise.

If no-one is available to accept the merchandise, the courier company will leave a card for you to contact them to arrange another time for delivery. If the second attempt fails I will be sent an email. After a period, which can be as short as a week, the merchandise will be returned to me.

Upon receipt of returned merchandise I will offer re-delivery. Please be advised that re-delivery will incur both the cost of the delivery when the merchandise was returned to me and the new delivery.

Requests for refunds will be considered. However all transport costs for outward and return deliveries will be deducted from the amount of the refund.

Please check all merchandise on arrival. Claims for incomplete orders and damages must be made within 5 days of accepting delivery.

In the event that merchandise is damaged during transit, you should sign for the merchandise as damaged and photograph both the packaging and the contents and inform me immediately by email at abigailnorthceramics@gmail.com

I will endeavour to replace your merchandise or the item(s) can be refunded including the cost of postage

Whilst I disclaim responsibility in the event of delays, damage, accidents or other problems incurred by the courier services, I will of course take steps to try to rectify the situation. In the event that merchandise is lost in transit by the courier service, I will either refund your payment, or send replacement merchandise.

Duties & Taxes

Prices for merchandise on the website include all taxes applicable in the UK.

Purchasers overseas will be responsible for duties and/ or taxes levied at the point of entry to the country of destination

 

Returns or cancellation

You have a legal right to a “cooling-off” period of 14 calendar days within which you can cancel the contract for any reason. This period begins once your order is complete and we have sent you your order confirmation.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel under this clause, you must inform us of your decision within the cooling-off period. You may do so by email to abigailnorthceramics@gmail.com

Please ensure that you return goods to us (where possible in the original packaging or to the same standard of packing to avoid breakages) no more than 14 calendar days after the day on which you have informed us that you wish to cancel. Please use a tracked delivery service as we cannot be held accountable for products which are lost in transit.

Refunds under this “cooling-off” clause will be issued to you within 14 calendar days of the following:

The day on which we receive the goods back; or

The day on which you inform us (supplying evidence) that you have sent the goods back (if this is earlier than the day on which we receive the goods back); or

If we have not yet provided an order confirmation or have not yet dispatched the goods, the day on which you inform us that you wish to cancel the contract.

Refunds under the “cooling-off” clause will be made using the same payment method that you used when ordering the goods. Original and returned postage costs will not be refunded unless you received the item in a damaged condition or it was an incorrect item.
